There are two opportunities (well, three, really) to support the YMCA this coming Saturday, June 22 and we are looking for volunteers!
1.) Capital City Mopar Car Show: 10-12 volunteers (age 14 and over) are needed to run the food both at the car show (Hagan Park in Rancho Cordova) from 8:30am until 3:00pm. The show organizers will make a donation to the YMCA in exchange for our volunteer time. Last year, the organization running the booth earned $600. This is a great opportunity to support Y programs!
2.) Yolo County YMCA Family Fun Night: Our sister YMCA in Yolo County is hosting their 31st(!) Annual Family Fun Night at Nelson's Grove in Woodland. Volunteers are needed from 4:00p on to help with all aspects of the event.
2a.) Family Fun Night is also a great event to attend, even if you can't volunteer! Tickets are available now and Nelson's Grove is an absolute jewel of a location that you should come enjoy!
