4.) Make Sure to Complete the CalYMCA MLC Survey: Make your voice heard! Share your feedback about this year's Sac Conference and program year. Your opinion matters. And it also counts towards next year's Delegation of Distinction application. Check your email or use this link (just make sure to correctly select our delegation in the menu or we won't get credit).
5.) VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Let's get a jump on next year by continuing our tradition of community service, here are two upcoming volunteer opportunities:
- Seize The Moment Run For Epilepsy: This volunteer and participation/fundraising opportunity comes to us from the Youker Family - Mitchell's younger brother Tommy lives with epilepsy and even after several medications and two surgeries, suffers from uncontrolled seizures. The Seize The Moment Run raises funds to support the Epilepsy Foundation of Northern California (www.epilepsynorcal.org) provides programs and services to the 180,000 people in Northern California living with Epilepsy. You can join Team Tommy and run/walk the 5k or run the 10k, donate, or volunteer to help on race day!
- If you sign up to run or to volunteer, make sure to let me know so we have it in our delegation notes for next year!
- Gold Country Half Marathon, El Dorado Hills: Because we've done such a great job running CIM Aid Stations, the Sacramento Running Association has asked us to run two aid stations at the Gold Country Half Marathon on Sunday, May 19 in El Dorado Hills. You'll be assigned to one of two aid stations after we receive the locations from the SRA - but both are in El Dorado Hills and very close to each other! Sign up here!
- Date: Sunday, May 19, 2019
- Time: Approx 7am-10am (final info TBA)
- Location: El Dorado Hills
- Prospective Delegates welcome!
- Thank you to all of our Sacramento Central Delegation Families for another great year. It's been an honor and a privilege to serve your children. We hope to see our non-seniors back next year and we hope our graduating seniors will keep up posted on where they end up next year.
- We're excited to report that we have crossed the $4000 mark for the Capitol Coalition's Annual Campaign drive. We are even more pleased to report that participation is now at 62%! Thank you to all who participated this year. If you'd like to invite others to give, the campaign continues!
