Have you recovered? (I haven't)
In case your
advisors didn't mention it already: we are all crazy proud of what you
accomplished at Sac Conference. You all took your program areas
seriously, spoke well, were in session when you were supposed to be,
and, the biggest point of pride for us - supported each other like
crazy. This year seemed extra special. We hope you all enjoyed it.
We have three things left to do this year:
1.)
Participate in the YMCA's annual support campaign. Our call-night will
be next Wednesday, February 25, at 6pm. The location will be confirmed
ASAP. You'll be calling other delegate families to ask for their help in
supporting our YMCA. We'll train you on how to do it. It's a relatively
painless process. And we expect to see everyone there, baring
significant per-existing commitments. The campaign builds our Y-Assist
fun. Whether or not you personally applied for Y-Assist you benefit from
it since some members of our delegation need Y-Assist to participate. I
hope you'll agree that losing even one of you would've been a blow to
the entire team. I can't imagine having had such a great year without
all of you there.
This is also the legacy our seniors leave behind: a guarantee that our delegation can thrive next year and beyond.
2.) Spring Conference!
Do
you want to come? You need to a) email me that you want to come ASAP,
b) submit your registration paperwork and initial deposit ASAP, c) go
recruit some friends. As of now, Gus, Tony, and Victoria are the only
three who have paid their deposit. You know there's a water slide,
right? How could you miss it?
3.) PAR-TAY! Traditionally, Rob and
I host a end-of-the-year party. This year, we might hold it at a
restaurant so we can accommodate all of you and your parents and some
guests. I'll need your help with input on this which means . . .GOOGLE
FORM!
I
guess there are 4 things left to do - Please complete this google form.
It asks for your input on party plans, dates, and on meeting
locations/days for Spring Con and next year. Please, please, please,
don't delay in completing it. It's your last of the year. So exciting,
right?!* You'll need to check in with your parents on some of these
items before you answer - so make it a family activity.

*It's
not the last form, that was a lie. Parents and delegates will be
getting evaluation forms soon. Sorry. I can't stop google-forming.
