Schedule Items of Interest

In yesterday's bulletin, we included the link to the schedule for this weekend's conference. Please take a few minutes to review the schedule. (You don't need to print it now - you'll be given a copy when we get there.)

Note: if you have a interview to attend during a schedule program training time, make sure you check-in/out with program staff in that area so they know where you're going. If you have a meeting scheduled during a meal time and need to eat prior to attending, you may proceed to the front of the meal line.  Note II: Don't forget your sleeping bag, pillow, and a twin-sized fitted sheet (not required, but I find it makes things more comfortable).

There are a few things I want to draw to your attention now:

SATURDAY
- Menus for each provided meal are listed in the schedule. If you have an dietary concerns based on what is listed, please let me know ASAP.

- Delegation Presidents' Mixer Saturday from 11-noon (ALBERTO)

- There is a Barracks meeting listed on the schedule. Once we know where our barracks is located in proximity to other afternoon events, we'll determine whether we'll meet at the barracks or have an alternate delegation meeting.

- Future Leaders Campaigners (TONY, ALEX) I believe you will need to attend the leadership meeting at 2:30 on Saturday.  You'll also be attending the campaigner dinner on Saturday evening from 5-6:15 - see the schedule.

- Governor's Cabinet interviews will be posted at 11:30 am at Bldg 5007 and interviews convene at 2:45 Saturday. (ALEX)

- Study/free time begins Saturday night at 10pm. We encourage you to check out the Square Dance also because it's really fun. Seriously. It's awesome.

- There is a midnight curfew to be back in your barracks. Lights are turned out at 12:30am. Promptly.

SUNDAY
- Leadership selections will be posted outside 5008 by 8:30 on Sunday morning.

- Future Leaders Campaigners (TONY, ALEX) have a lunch from 11:45am -1:15pm Sunday.

- Women in Leadership Meeting - Tent 1 - Sunday at 5:30pm (new to the schedule, should be interesting, not limited to gals, obviously)

- Delegation Presidents' Meeting 6:15pm (ALBERTO)

- Everyone must attend a political convention. Even if you pick no political party to join, you'll still need to attend the unaffiliated meeting.

- Delegation Caucus Time - we'll pick a place to meet after we know where our barracks are.

MONDAY
- ALL Delegates and Advisors must pack up their belongings and clean their bunk area (pick up litter, etc) prior to breakfast.  The barracks must be ready for prompt luggage removal and immediate cleaning after the end of joint session.

- After the close of joint session, all delegates must head directly back to their barracks. Everyone helps with barracks clean up. We will have to sweep out the building, mop the floors, and clean the bathrooms (all parts of the bathrooms, yes) and mop bathroom floors QUICKLY!  Ultimately, not everyone will have a mop or broom in hand, but we need all-hands to get the job done quickly. Volunteers who step forward first will be greatly appreciated.  The faster we clean, the faster we are inspected and the faster we're on the road home!
