Delegation Bulletin #14: The Gobble Gobble Party Edition‏

Less than a week until Thanksgiving? How can that be?!

Here's what you need to know this week - it might involve some Google Forms, because nothing says "fun!" like Google Forms!

1.) Not a form, but: once again this year, we'll be conducting a fundraising push through causes.com. This online platform sends contributions directly to our YMCA. Donating is fast and easy and secure. Donations can range from a minimum of $10 to ???? Please share this link on your Facebook page or via email to friends and family.  Proceeds will help us meet remaining need this year, seed next year's scholarship fund (yes, already!), and also support the reestablishment of our sister program for middle-schoolers, the Model United Nations.  Last year, we raised $1005, this year, we want to continue on to the $2000 mark! Parents, we ask you to share the link as well.

For the cost of two lattes + tax today, donors can ensure a stronger community tomorrow!

4.) Payment Deadline, December 4 - $260 (or some portion of the payment you owe if you are receiving Y-Assist. EVERYONE needs to submit a payment)

5.) By the way, ***NO Meeting Next Week*** Happy Thanksgiving!

9.) Secret Santa! We will do our Secret Santa Gift Exchange and Holiday Campaign Sign Making Party at our December 11 meeting. Gifts can be up to $10 in value. Have fun with them! If you did not attend last week's meeting (ALBERTO, CALVIN, HANNAH, ROB, ROBBIE) - please email me the following information - The best gift you received, the worst gift you received, and your favorite candy.  We will send that info the delegation so that your Secret Santa person can read the info. And once you reply to me, I'll give you your Secret Santa Assignment.

10.) Holiday Alumni Mixer - continuing with a sorta-tradition, Rob and I will host a Holiday Mixer for current and former delegates on Friday, December 27, at 6:30pm Save the Date! All current and former delegates and parents are welcome!

11.) Future Leaders & Strong Kids Campaigns: Thank you to all who volunteered for these tasks. The limit for Y&G's Future Leaders Campaign is 3 participants from each delegation. Tony, Max, and Maret will serve on that campaign. Jordyn and Shy will head-up our Strong Kids Campaign for our own YMCA (and there will be plenty of opportunity for everyone else to participate in that, too!)
