SacC MUN Bulletin #12: The 18th Model UN Summit is in the Books!

What an amazing weekend we had in Los Angeles! The entire Advising Team is amazed by our Ambassadors' accomplishments at the 18th Youth & Government Model United Nations Summit. We hope each Ambassador is proud of our Delegations' work - we sure are!

New Business

1.) Awards Banquet Time! Our First Annual Awards Banquet will be held on Tuesday, May 7. This will be a chance for Ambassadors and their families to gather in celebration of all their hard work and accomplishments this year. Please purchase your tickets online by Tuesday, April 30.

2.) Delegate Summit Survey. Ambassadors should take a moment to complete the Delegate Summit Survey. Your input helps CalYMCA improve the program for next year.

3.) Gold Country Half Marathon (El Dorado Hills). We're still looking for volunteers on Sunday, May 19 at the Gold Country Half Marathon in El Dorado Hills. Earn service credit, work towards next year's Delegation of Distinction, and help raise money for delegation scholarships! For more details and to sign up, click here

4.) Be The Change Coin Challenge: Thank you to all who brought their spare change for the Coin Challenge! Model UN met and exceeded its goal of raising $1000 to provide scholarships for next year's MUN Ambassadors. It's wonderful to see so much support from our Ambassadors as we benefited greatly from these scholarships this year!

5.) MUN IPC Articles Online. Visit the MUN IPC website to read Ambassador-authored articles about the 18th MUN Summit!

Then, join us on Thursday, May 2 at Bike Dog Taproom (located at 915 Broadway) from 6:15 to 8:15 pm where 15% of your purchases will be donated back to the Y!
