Y&G CapCo Combined Delegation Bulletin #3: September, it's too-long bulletin season!

September - it's about apple season, crisp temperatures in the low 80s, and long bulletins.
This week it's one bulletin for both delegations. Enjoy!

Delta Clean-Up, This Saturday (9/17)
The event goes from 9 AM to noon, and participants will be given gloves and bags and asked to help pick up human-generated garbage (no sticks or leaves) along the riverbank.  Dumpsters are provided, as are plastic gloves and bags - although reusable gloves, water bottles and buckets are HIGHLY encouraged (since it's ironic to generate all this plastic in order to pick up all that plastic).  Participants will earn free Rubio's coupons,  and Tshirts will be awarded for heaviest piece, oddest find, etc.
Location: West Sacramento (Meet at the corner of Riverfront and Mill Street in the Bridge District)
Time: 9:00 AM - 12 Noon
Duties: Clean-up the shoreline!
Attire: clothes you won't mind getting dirty in.

If you haven't yet - please print and bring with you this waiver.

Camp Capital City:
We're still looking for 4-6 more volunteers. You can sign up here.

Parents - event tickets are still available! Information here.

Payment Deadline:
September 14/15 was a $300 payment deadline. If you didn't this week, please bring a check payable to "Sacramento Central YMCA" with your name in the memo line to the next meeting or make a payment online

Y-Assist Applicants

If you submitted a completed Y-Assist application, you should be notified shortly of your award from the Sacramento Central YMCA (the Y&G Scholarship notifications are expected at the start of October).

Your first payment will be due by September 23. Watch your email for more info.

As ever, if payment amounts or timing present problems, please talk with your advisor ASAP
