Y&G Delegation Bulletin #1: Registration Forms, Volunteer Opportunities, Starbucks Raffle and More!

You're receiving this bulletin as a member or parent of the Capitol Coalition of Y&G Delegations - Sacramento Central and El Dorado. This week, we'll experiment with a Coalition-wide bulletin. There are three sections: one for El Dorado (meets at Oak Ridge High School on Thursdays), one for Sacramento Central (meets at 5959 8th Avenue on Wednesdays), and one section for the entire coalition. Make sure you read the information specific to YOUR delegation as well as the CapCo information! PLEASE NOTE: deadlines listed under the delegation sections are DELEGATION-SPECIFIC.

Here's what you need to know this week:

Capitol Coalition:
We have 3 - count 'em 3! - community service opportunities in September and one fundraising opportunity. Please make sure that you complete this survey ASAP. Information for all events and the fundraiser can be found at the link. READING TEST #1: all delegates who participate in this survey prior to their meeting this week will be entered into a drawing for a Starbucks gift card!

Regarding the fundraiser - we have a coalition goal of raising $1000 through Mixed Bags sales this year so please participate!

El Dorado Delegation:
- Next meeting is Thursday, 9/8 at 7pm in Room B3.
- Your paper registration forms are due this week! If you lost your paperwork, you can print another copy from here: http://bit.ly/CapCo2016PaperPacket
- Watch your text messages for information on this week's current event topic.
- A note about attendance: if you have registered and paid your deposit, but not yet attended a meeting, your enrollment in the delegation may be in jeopardy. Please attend this week's meeting.

Sacramento Central Delegation:
- Next meeting is Wednesday, 9/7 at the Tahoe Park Community Center (5959 8th Ave, Sac, 95820)
