2018-19 El Dorado Youth and Government Delegation Bulletin #3

Turn in your $100 deposit by this Thursday's meeting! Make sure to secure your spot for this year!

1.) Community Service and Fundraiser Volunteer Sign-Ups: We've got several community service opportunities in September and October - Click here and let us know which days you are available to participate. This is a great way to give back to the community and get those much valued points! 

2.) Lake Cleanup Location Assignments: Here is a list of all of the delegates (does not include friends or family) who have signed up for the Folsom Lake clean up and the locations they registered for. Delegates are not allowed to switch from these locations because we don't control the sign-up list (the event organizers do). Delegates will get points for attending this event, but only if they show up where they signed up. If they signed up and are not on this list, please double check with the event organizers.

3.) Finish the Registration Process: Make sure that you are fully registered for our delegation for this year. All three of these steps need to be completed by this Thursday (at the absolute latest!). Below are three steps that must all be completed for you to secure your spot:

1. Fill out the online form here;
2. Print out the paper forms (both at the online link and attached) sign them, and return them by this Thursday;
3. Pay your $100 deposit (if this is a financial hardship, please send me an email). Your deposit can be made online here or via check made out to "Sacramento Central YMCA"

It will be a lot more difficult to add new delegates after this week so if you know people who would like to join, encourage them to do so before Thursday! 

4.) Capitol Coalition Field Day: The Youth & Government Capitol Coalition will

unite as one for a retreat at the Sacramento Central YMCA. CapCo Field Day will provide an opportunity to learn more about each other and Y&G, strengthen the Coalition, hone leadership skills, and bond with new friends!

When: Sunday, September 30, 2018, 10:00am-4pm

Where: Sacrament Central YMCA (2021 W Street, Sacramento 95818)

Cost: $10 Due by Friday, September 24 to your delegation lead advisor; covers lunch and all activities! (Financial aid available; talk to your lead advisor if costs are a concern)
